An experienced Osteopath specialising in Cranial Osteopathy for pregnancy, birth and post-partum; providing Cranial Osteopathy for the new-born, babies and children. Cranial Osteopathy for children with developmental and learning delay, achieving motor milestones.

The principles and practice of Osteopathy are unique. Osteopaths use their hands to evaluate and understand the presenting condition and seek to restore the underlying health. The wise, gentle, and subtle palpation skills of an Osteopath are unique and assist in diagnosing and understanding the manifestation of health in the individual person.

The provision of Osteopathy and Cranial Osteopathy in spinal trauma or neurological pain states; post trauma states including head injury and post-neurosurgical care is a focus of my Osteopathic practice.

Carolyn McGregor maintains a specialist interest in Sports Injury and Dance Medicine, providing Osteopathic care for athletes, with particular focus on the injured athlete returning to Sport. Carolyn enjoys sea kayaking, climbing, sea swimming, cycling, running and Cornish Pilot Gig rowing and as an Osteopath will listen attentively to the individual needs of a person in their chosen field or discipline and tailor the provision of Osteopathy accordingly.

Providing Osteopathy to the wider community and with gentle, specific Osteopathic care of the older person promoting an understanding of personal well-being and health to enable people to fully take responsibility with confidence of their own health, healing and well-being. Diet, nutrition and life-style are aspects considered by the Osteopath.

Carolyn McGregor has taught Osteopathy at under-graduate and post-graduate levels in Cranial Osteopathy and has continued her own post-graduate training. Graduated with a Divinity Degree in 2004 from the Maryvale Institute, Birmingham and as a Homoeopath in 2006 from the South Downs School, Chichester.

Qualified in Equine and Animal Osteopathy, Carolyn McGregor provides consultation, assessment and Osteopathic treatment with advice for owners, with Veterinarian referral. Osteopathy and Cranial Osteopathy with Animal Healing and Communication can be requested.
